Sunday 22nd May the new look Masters Pennants team took to the course for
the first time this season, given the first week against Ryde Parramatta was washed out.
The green staff managed to keep the course playable in spite of significant
rain on Friday, and so with a very “Coast Friendly” south easterly blowing
we commenced operations on the Ryde Parramatta team.
Welcome to our two new team members Alman Ogane & Oliver Young.
With all players taking a common sense approach to course conditions, the
matches were played in good spirit and The Coast emerged victorious 6.5 to
1.5, with many matches finishing well before 18. It seems the visitors may
have struggled with the wind…….
