Congratulations to Cooper Smith for taking out the 2022 Matchplay Championship. Cooper defeated James Brady 1up in the 36-hole final.
Cooper has now won back to back Matchplay championships. Well done also to James, whose dream run came to an end at the hands of the newly named “Brady Lake” on the 18th hole, in scenes reminiscent of Harry Kane’s World Cup disaster.
Congrats also to Peter Dillon, who defeated Robert Simpson in the B-Grade final and Geoff Warleigh who defeated Pascal Veuillet in C-Grade.
