Due to safety concerns around golf balls from the 18th tee landing on and around the 9th tee and 8th green, the area to the west of the 18th green (encompassing the 9th tee and the 8th green) will be Out of Bounds from Saturday 21st January.
Any player hitting a ball into this area must proceed under stroke and distance penalty from where the original ball was played.
The entirety of the dam remains Penalty Area (red stakes), however players must be virtually certain that their ball is in the penalty area to proceed to the drop zone.
