The Coast Bronze 1 team finished their Pennants season on a high – after some very competitive matches, our ladies came in with 7 points and in 4th place. Kogarah won with 10 points. A great season and congratulations to the team of Marilyn Laffy, Sharyn Africh, Margaret Hogan, Judy Barrett, Annie Porter, Karen Parker, Heidi Gregory, Anne McGregor and Shona Choy. Cathy McDonald and Lorna Foley were also members of the team, but were away the day the “class” photo was taken! On Friday 21 April, the Bronze 2 Pennants team has their first game – against Kareela, at Bankstown. As well, the Silver team commences their Pennants’ campaign on Friday 28 April, also against Kareela, at Woolooware. Good golfing ladies and stay tuned for results as they come in!In the meantime, our Mixed Pennant team has made it to the finals. Last week, at Barnwell Park, they finished in the dark – amazingly, the final putts were played out with only phone torches providing the light! Ladies in the mix these past couple of months, have been – Jess Ryan, Kerri Blyth, Margaret Grant, Margaret Hogan, Amanda White, Heidi Gregory, Carmel Fifield, Janet Rose and Shannen Brown. Exciting times ladies and gents, so all the best for the A team at Muirfield on Sunday 23rd!
