Scheduled course renovations took place over 3 days from Monday 21st – Wednesday 23rd of August.
A brief rundown of work completed includes:
Greens:
- Scarification
- 12mm hollow tine core
- Top dressing each green twice
Tees
- 12 mm hollow tine core on all tee boxes on each hole
- Top dressing of previously leveled tees.
Fairways
- Aeration of all fairways and green surrounds.
7th Hole Works
- Work to widen the fairway towards the right-hand side of the hole has begun after removal of trees.
- 200 tonne of fill brought in to provide base for new turf.
- Minor reshaping of RHS to provide a gentle camber away from trees.
- 1,500m2 of new turf to arrive early next week.
Signage
- New car park and “danger” signage installed in various areas of the back-9.
